This is my second marriage and we decided to do a destination wedding where the wedding and honeymoon are in the same location. My two older children and our son will be in the wedding as well. I'm not getting much input from my children and I feel as though my older son doesn't want to be involved even though he has the honor of walking me down the beach to my fiance. Do I just have the second time jitters and worry more or should I really be concerned that my son might actually back out?

I'm planning my wedding also and it is my second time around. There are days I feel some lack of input as well. But, it is my day and this is going to be your day. No matter who it is, you and your husband to be, are the most important people in this union. Let the family know you love them and their input is a vital part of your new life. This is your time to live and enjoy the blessings that you deserve. Let nothing interfere with what you have been so blessed to enjoy. Most importantly, remember to pray!!!
